Bio

Karen Desmeules, M.S. Ed, BMus, created Heartfulness4Kids after hearing from parents truly wanting to build more supportive and communicative relationships with their families. She believes parents are seeking ways to address the unique challenges our children and teens are currently facing, with our more traditional ways of parenting no longer meeting the needs of children.

Karen recently co-created an 8-week parenting course offered for participants attending an online Parenting Our Teens Summit featuring speakers Kristin Neff, Goldie Hawn and Dan Siegel, as well as many othes. While in the role of Mental Health and Wellbeing Consultant, she developed a 4-month social emotional learning program for a school district, accessed by over 12 000 children and teens.

Karen is a life-long educator, passionate about using her educational background and personal experiences to help families live more loving, heart-centered lives.
